Olympic figures made of plaster
5th grades students learned about ancient Greece. We focused on the Olympics. Students created figures in motion. They chose a sport that their figure would represent and created an armature. They covered the armature in foil to get form and then covered with plaster. Images feature students in final stages of this project. They are painting their figures in gold, silver, or bronze. Will post more when project is completed.
